Chicago, New York, Washington DC
Chicago is another of my favorite American cities, especially as an architectural photographer -- its wonderful location on the shores of lake Michigan and its long architectural heritage make it a great place to visit.
New York is one of the most dynamic cities in the world -- and here are two of my favourite quieter New York places, Central Park and the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA).
One of the main reasons for visiting Washington DC is to admire the broad expanse of the Mall and the splendid memorials lining it, with Arlington in the distance over the river.
This portfolio focuses on what I see as the most dramatic and evocative memorials, Jefferson Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and the Arlington National Cemetery, but also features what I think is a lesser-known, but classic memorial, the District of Columbia World War II Memorial.
