A recent interest moving away from architecture and landscapes is in abstract forms. In particular, I've discovered the potential in macro abstracts of old glass -- decanters, vases, etc. -- and the patterns of light and dark created as light strikes them from different angles. In still life its a focus on inanimate details locomotives, transport and machinery.
